moonriver.energy’s integrated power-to-gas plants produce Customised Green Fuel (CGF). In our current projects, carbon dioxide (CO₂) is captured from flue gas of industrial plants and merged with green hydrogen (H₂) to synthetic methane (CH4).

The synthetic methane can be re-used as fuel in the industrial plant. Thus, the carbon dioxide (CO₂) remains in an infinite cycle and is not released into the atmosphere. We call this Carbon Capture Looping (CCL).

moonriver.energy power-to-gas plants thus help to keep the carbon dioxide (CO₂) emissions of industrial plants in an infinite cycle – a good alternative to carbon dioxide (CO₂) storage (CCS).
